"I’ve been visiting since
the 1970s. While Avanti's changes it
still retains its unique character.
Know people who move away and still
miss Avanti’s bread. Vegetable
lasagna has also been a favorite for
many years. Glad to see it back
periodically, and when it's not, we
try other things looking for new
favorites. Veggie gondolas have a
nice combination of textures and
flavors -- a nice change of pace."

"I have loved
Avanti's since August of 1974 as a
freshman at ISU. I have a friend who
is also an ISU alum and lives in our
hometown 200 miles south and asks
whenever I see him if I brought him
a Gondola. I have been known to give
my college roommate who now lives in
north eastern corner of Iowa
Avanti's bread for Christmas. My two
adult children still enjoy Avanti's
when they are home."
